Welcome to our new events season

The Ilminster Arts Centre is a superb venue for small-scale concerts.  It has an excellent acoustic that enhances the intimate atmosphere of the building.  The jazz series presented by Mike Denham allows us to hear some of the best national jazz musicians, and we are delighted that Concerts in the West will continue to present their excellent series of classical concerts.

We also have music of more general interest such as the local Barbershop ensemble "Rivertones" and Band Nights.

From the literature evenings to the "Musicians of Bremen" - a touring group appealing to 3-9 year olds in an adaptation of the Grimm's fairy tale, we are confident that you can find many high quality events to entertain you.  For more information, just click on the various navigation tabs on this page.

Michael Fry-Foley

Chairman, Ilminster Arts Centre at the Meeting House

Gallery Information

Ilminster Arts Centre is proud to announce its exciting programme of exhibitions for Spring 2010 which has been put together to bring you a balanced mixture of:

*    High profile curated exhibitions arranged in partnership with Somerset Art Works;
*    An open exhibition featuring the best traditional and contemporary work from the Somerset community of artists;
*    A variety of exciting and innovative artist-led exhibitions.

We will launch the 2010 programme with ‘VISION’, a partnership exhibition of the work of three of the County’s most talented First Class Honours B.A. graduates.
